In a Nutshell...

I grew up in southern California with a love and appreciation for sports. I excelled in soccer, competing at the national level and eventually playing in college. After receiving my undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2010 from California State University, Sacramento, I wanted to continue my involvement with sports. I was fascinated with how the mind affects performance and how performance affects the mind. I wanted to learn more about how athletes could overcome adversity and maintain a high level of play. In 2014, I graduated with my Master's degree in Sport Psychology and certificate in Sport and Exercise Performance from John F. Kennedy University. Through my internship experiences and current clients, I have enjoyed the opportunity to positively influence how athletes perceive their performance while teaching them skills they can use throughout their lives.

To continue my growth as a consultant, I am a member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and the American Psychological Association Division 47 (APA-47). I continue to watch and play sports and am looking to make a positive difference within sport psychology and sport communities.
